The Castle of Molina de Aragon stands tall on the highest point of this municipality. Its construction dates back to the 10th century, when it was used as a watchtower over the territory of Guadalajara. Today, it is an example of a well-preserved walled enclosure. Declared a National Monument in 1931, the castle is the second-largest in the country.
