In 1765, after taking possession of the heritage of the Marquesa de Mirabal, Don Luis Antonio Jaime de Borbón, sixth son of Felipe V, commissioned Ventura Rodríguez to build a sculptural palace. An important representation of the late-baroque style in Spain that has become the emblem of the Madrid municipality of Boadilla del Monte. Surrounded by a privileged garden, the Palace of the Infante Don Luis has seen great figures from the history of culture parade, such as the painter Francisco de Goya or the architect Luigi Boccherini. More than 200 years later, the great architectural treasure of Boadilla del Monte will once again see the female cycling elite roll.
